UEMO Fall General Assembly, 4-5 November 2022, Ljubljana

Diana Gonçalves, EJD's Liaison Officer to UEMO, represented European Junior Doctors at the UEMO - European Union of General Practitioners Fall General Assembly in Ljubljana, Slovenia on 4-5 November 2022 and presented on current activities and planned projects of the Association.
The European Union of General Practitioners (UEMO) is a not-for-profit organisation of the most representative national, non-governmental, independent organisations representing general practitioners / family physicians in the countries of Europe.
Founded in 1967 by the national organisations in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Italy, the Union quickly grew to encompass organisations from all current Member States of the European Union, as well as from the countries of the European Free Trade Association and other European countries.
The UEMO aims to promote the highest standard of training, practice and patient care within the field of general practice / family medicine throughout Europe and defend the role of general practitioners / family physicians in the healthcare system.
